About the project:
Diamed is one of the leading networks of medical and pharmaceutical laboratories. The project is an intelligent AI assistant (chatbot) based on the company’s knowledge base to support patients.
Task:
Automate the routine work of call center operators, reduce waiting time on the line and provide patients with the opportunity to receive accurate answers to questions about the cost of tests, the timing of their readiness and the rules of preparation for medical procedures around the clock.
Solution:
A system has been developed at the intersection of ASP.NET Core and Artificial Intelligence technologies. The RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) algorithm has been implemented, which links language models (LLMs) to the laboratory's proprietary database. The bot is integrated into Telegram, deeply understands the context of questions in natural language and formulates accurate medical certificates without hallucinations.
Result:
The introduction of an AI assistant (@DiamedLabsBot) made it possible to relieve the company's hotline by tens of percent. The time it takes to receive a patient certificate has been reduced to just a few seconds, and customer loyalty has increased thanks to instant and error-free 24/7 support.
